The Texas Association of School Business Officials is seeking Member Engagement Manager to manage the membership programs of the Association and identify opportunities for membership growth by analyzing participation. An independent, not-for-profit professional association, the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) is dedicated to being "THE trusted resource for school finance and operations" in Texas.
TASBO has approximately 6,300 members, representing more than 880 public school districts in Texas and over 90 open-enrollment charter schools, in addition to all 20 Regional Education Service Centers.
The Member Engagement Manage will be responsible for management and growth of membership, member engagement, and volunteers. Duties include but are not limited to:
Prepare and implement an annual strategic membership recruitment/retention plan.
Prepare and analyze member participation in events and response to electronically received content.
Communicate with the affiliate chapters to ensure that the Association can respond to their needs in a timely manner including recordkeeping of officers and installations and distribution of awards.
Identify gaps in Association offerings and assist in the development of relevant content and activities for individual growth of members.
Maintain the Association’s online communities and monitor engagement of members. Develop methods to increase member engagement if necessary.
Maintain the integrity of the Association’s member management system.
Analyze the participation in the individual Affiliate meetings and develop programs to engage members and non-members in the area.
Coordinate the learning activities for the individual affiliates to ensure that the learning needs of its members are met as needed.
Design and develop monthly professional development newsletter.
Assist with design and development of TASBO communications and website.
Assist with the development of marketing materials.
Provide technical assistance as needed to members within the Association.
Assist Director of Partner Relations with exhibit booth sales and actively recruit associate members.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of best practices in member recruitment, retention, and engagement.
Knowledge of association software/management systems such as HigherLogic and iMIS preferred.
Skill in delivery of services throughout the organization and to its members.
Skill in the use of social media to encourage participation.
Skill in conducting team efforts to design, implement, measure, and refine programs and services.
Skill in analyzing and interpreting membership and engagement and evaluation data.
Skill in identifying and resolving problems.
Ability to organize and prioritize work responsibilities.
Four years' work experience in association membership or member services.
Additional Salary Information: Dependent upon experience
