The Senior Associate Director for Marketing and Communications reports to the Director of Admissions; is a member of the Admissions Committee responsible in part for the recruiting, evaluation, and selection of Wharton MBA students; and is the point person for the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies for the Wharton MBA offices of Admissions and Financial Aid.
As an active, contributing member of the Admissions Committee, the Senior Associate Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for delivering an extremely high caliber, diverse class each year. This individual will participate in recruitment activities (representing the School locally and around the world), evaluate applicants for admission, and play an active role in the yield process.
Additionally, this individual manages the offices’ brand and marketing strategies using a multi-channel approach to engage with our global audience throughout their Admissions journey. Deep, innovative, hands-on knowledge of CRM technology, social media, video, print, and web platforms is required, with a real interest in the Admissions process. The Sr. AD of Marketing and Communications will establish and execute on a comprehensive marketing plan managing simultaneously recruitment, application, yield, and matriculation strategies.
The Sr. AD of Marketing and Communications sits in a unique position, working primarily within the construct of the Admissions Committee as well as with constituents across the School and marketing professionals both internal and external. The ability to move between groups and advocate for the needs of stakeholders is critical.
