The Marketing & Communications Coordinator, CAS is primarily and directly responsible for development of marketing strategies and materials to promote the performing and visual arts news and events for AU Arts departments and programs within the College of Arts and Sciences. The individual will also assist in the broader marketing and communications efforts of the CAS Marketing and Communication office aimed at promoting the sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Promotional efforts for all CAS areas include social media, online news, email blasts, and direct marketing. With respect to AU Arts, the individual will work closely with faculty and staff in the Performing Arts Department, the Art Department, and, on occasion, the AU Museum, as well as individuals throughout the College and the University, to provide a consistently high level of exposure for news, events, and programs. The individual also produces and distributes marketing materials related to all art and performing arts programs, including the DPA program brochures and posters, and the twice-yearly AU Arts Brochure.
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator, CAS also supports faculty who have social media outlets, coordinates CAS faculty achievements for the CAS website and Connections Magazine, updates the Battelle Directory for the monitors, updates CAS eNews contact lists, and may contribute to news articles for Connections Magazine and the CAS News website.
